Immune-Mediated Keratitis

Multifocal immune-mediated punctate keratitis (MIPK) describes a canine condition that results in multiple, sites of discrete corneal ulceration and which is suspected to be immune-mediated in etiology. Lesions are typically oval to circular, well-defined and may be associated with arborizing vascular response. Secondary infection may result in rapid progression of these lesions. Commonly affected breeds include the Shetland Sheepdog & Dachshund.
