VOC is independently and family owned with compassionate, qualified and experienced team members. Medical director Dr. Douglas Esson DACVO and Dr. Sara Calvarese DACVO are board-certified veterinary ophthalmologists.
We pride ourselves in our communication and the ability to work closely with your family veterinarian, as well as other veterinary specialists, to offer outstanding patient care. We are equipped and trained to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including state-of-the-art anesthetic maintenance & monitoring, ultrasonography, electroretinography, operating microscopy, cataract phacoemulsification and laser, as well as micro-surgery. Working closely with physician ophthalmologists, VOC has pioneered several cutting-edge techniques.
