Thank you for your continued support during these uncertain times. We would like you to know that we remain open for your pet's ophthalmology needs. We are continuing curbside care for the present time as well as practicing physical distancing, wearing proper protective gear, and following cleaning and disinfectant protocols. Our primary focus is to continue to serve you, while prioritizing the health and safety of our team members.
In order to best protect staff and clients, we’ve put together some guidelines to follow:
STAY HOME IF YOU’RE SICK
We urge all clients to stay at home or seek medical assistance if they are not feeling well. We will be happy to authorize another person on your account so that your pet can be treated immediately or make other arrangements for your convenience and safety. We have instructed all staff who are feeling ill to stay at home.
UPCOMING APPOINTMENTS
We ask that you CALL us from your car once you arrive to check in. A VOC team member will assist you outside when it’s your appointment time.
Your pet will be brought back to our treatment room to be examined by our ophthalmologists, then our doctors will come out to your car to discuss the diagnosis and a plan of action.
MEDICATION REFILLS
If your pet needs a medication refill, please call your desired location or submit an online refill form that can be found on our website: (https://veterinaryophthalmicconsulting.com/pages/prescription-refills).
Be prepared to give payment over the phone and to pick up your medications outside of our VOC clinics.
WE CAN ALSO MAIL OUT YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS ($15 FOR SHIPPING) WHICH WE RECOMMEND DURING THIS TIME.
AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY AND ASSISTANCE
As of now our business hours will remain normal, Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
If you need emergency assistance after hours, call our main number at 949-404-4100 and leave a detailed message with your first and last name, your pet's name, and a call back number. An on-call VOC technician will call you back as soon as they can once they have received your message. Please make sure your phone accepts blocked calls, as our staff members will be reaching out to you on a restricted number.
Any other non-emergency related calls - such as medication refills, rescheduling or canceling an appointment, or calls to make a consultation - will be returned the next business day.
